My First Post!

So. Here I am, officially making my stand in the blogophere.

And, can I tell ya, I kind of feel like you do when you buy a lottery ticket… You know that there’s a better chance in getting hit by a Wal-Mart Mac Truck than there is in winning the big bucks, but you can’t help but be excited and have a little hope that maybe you’ll be that lucky exception.

Now, I know that I’m just one of a bah-zillion people rambling on about things that there own mama could careless about, let alone a stranger. But I’m not looking to attract a mob of groupies or strike it big with a movie deal. I’m just excited that I’ve finally decided that I can (and should) dedicate some time and energy to becoming “connected” with my friends and family. And hey, if I’m lucky, I might create something that somebody, somewhere actually thinks it worth reading. For now, I’ll settle for my mama and an occasional friend popping in.

So. What can you expect from this blog? Well, keep in mind that I’m new at this. So don’t expect me to post every time I sneeze or every random thought. I’ll try to keep this site updated in a quasi-timely manner with family photos, anecdotes, vent sessions, and whatever else seems interesting enough to say more than once. I plan on using this site as a forum to get closer to my loved ones and share those silly little moments that distance would other wise prevent. This will also be my place to get my Art out there. I’ll post photos of my latest projects and pass on any creative tid bits that I gather.
